Senate Bill 216

SB 216
Title: modify provisions related to prohibited medical interventions on minors.

SB 216, a proposed amendment to HB 1080's “Help Not Harm” bill, hopes to allow trans youth, who have parents consent, to receive certain gender-affirming care.

This is important because we want to prevent harm to our kids by providing them with life-saving, gender-affirming care, as well as restore parental rights to have a say in their child’s healthcare.
